The Mining City Writing Project’s second writer in residence, Sid Gustafson, will join us for a week beginning on January 15.
Sid Gustafson is an established veterinarian and author living in Big Sky. His 33 year practice specializes in equine health- a subject of which he is an ardent advocate. A Montana native, Gustafson grew up in Conrad, where he began his lifelong career working with animals on his family’s ranch.
He has authored numerous short stories and poems, as well as three novels. His veterinary works include guidebooks on canine health and equine behavior.
He will be reading from his third novel, Swift Dam, on Saturday evening at the Chateau.
